| You could always do what we used to do in the Army when we were having problems with someone who was clearly being unreasonable. Scruff him by the back of the neck, drag him around behind your building and belt the living sh*te out of him - explain to him that if this problem persists so will his.  In all seriousness though, you may very well be better off seeking proper legal advice. If it saves your job and saves you stress (which you will be passing on to your pregnant wife) at a time when you need to be thinking of your family then it's worth it.
