| Oil change
Hi all
Just recently discovered this board having bought a 2002 ST4s. I have found loads of useful information and useful tips.
I am changing the oil and filter. I want to check and clean the filter screen while I am at it. But I can't get the filter screen out. on other Dukes I have owned this usually slides out when I have removed the outer cap. On my new machine I can't get the screen out. It seems to have a hexagonal socket (same size as the outer cap). I have tried unsrewing it with a suitable socket but it won't budge. Is there a "trick" to getting this out? |
