I am having to restrain myself as the sparco ones do look bling, but i guess wont do that much of a better job than the diasec ones.

I had Diamond security for 2 yrs racing and had no problem, heat well, durable and cheap!
Dont go anywhere near the Motrax ones (even if they are £120!)
I had 3 sets in a row and each one had a warmer fail after 1 track session. They have a really bad reputation in the 'paddock' so its better to pay a bit more and have some reliability.

Says it all really, thanks for your experience guys.

When I get some methinks it will be diasec.

Cheers,

TP

When you look at their prices on their website the superbike ones are £150!!

They have been selling a lot on ebay, and looking at the history their reserve met is at £130!

Do you fancy making them an offer for two sets, or more if people are interested?

Depends on what comes out in the tyre rules for Desmo Due.

If there's no tyre warmers allowed I may as well wait a bit because I won't be on track on the 996 much this year. If it's allowed with Desmo Due then I'm deffo in, along with another 25 odd people.

Cant understand that. I would of thought for safety you'd require tyre heaters!

Now you wouldn't be trying to influence the rules committee would you???

Two things:

I think the Diasec ones are approx £130 for the standard and £150 if you get the ones with a built in 'heat shield' which stops the warmer burning on the underseat piping on a Duke...worth considering rather than frying/melting the warmers first time out on the exhaust.

Also, a few of us tried some time ago to get a group deal on these...including Nelly (trade) yet no joy. They simply were not interested which seemed a real shame
