Anybody fancy meeting on the train from Chelmsford? What's the last train back and how early would I have to leave the venue to get back in time?

Yep, will be going - will have to co-ordinate the train journeys.

Plenty of trains running to Liverpool Street late afternoon but the last one back is 00:18!!
If we miss that the next one is 7:32!

A typical cab fare is £70 back to Chelmsford - split between 5 of us that's not too bad at all

: Pretty good considering....
If you're planning on travelling in from the South-East by train, I THINK that Charing Cross and Waterloo East are closed, with trains being diverted to Cannon Street. Not nearly so convenient for the Sports Cafe.
Rocker - can you confirm?
