I'm more relaxed than a horde of hippies snoozing in a field of herb....

Actually I'm terrified, but not about the racing just the longevity of my engine! Rode the bike for about 50 miles on Sat and she's handling beautifully, much lighter and sweeter than my 900. She's also running incredibly hot. Engine casings are sizzling for ages after I've stopped and the oil looks like water it's so hot.

I don't suppose I'm going to get really concerned about the racing until the lead up to Castle Combe. Cadwell woodland is just going to be a point and squirt session with the silverware going to those with biggest cajones and elbows!

Cheers,

Ali

I feel a bit better after doing Cadwell at the weekend.
Got little to do to the bike other than the lockwiring and an oil change now.
Reckon it's just going to be a procession round Woodlands unless anyone plans to leap a few places over the mountain ala motox stylee!

Still have a big list of things to work through to get the bike ready, almost a full side of lined A4 paper. Will hopefully get some more done next weekend, followed by my first ride on it on the 14th and then the final race prep over the following two weeks.
I haven't got time for any problems with it so there's not going to be any !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the offer Steve but its more of the case that I'm not going to be about for the most of this week and I'm still waiting for bits to arrive.
Main job is the fork rebuild, once that is done I will be happy to take it for a blat around Landow next Thursday and figure out what else needs doing, most of the other work can be done in the evenings of the two weeks leading up to Cadwell.
The list is split into 3 sections. Those with a great deal of urgency Primary objectives), those needed for race day (Secondary objectives, like lock wiring and Rear Diablo etc) and then there is the Would Like Wish List which can always wait until after Cadwell.

Yes Phil I know Derek been to his place at Manor farm Gawcott a few times as its not that far from me, he built me a shock for my first Hariis Magnum as I couldn't afford a WP or Ohlins unit

Arghhhh... I am so excited and waiting for this... that I can't say it in English Sorry about that.

That's it, Maybe some of you will understand that I am so excited that there is no word in my English to describe it.

Tonio - its not long now, you CAN wait - but WHY should the 'pilot fall in the apples'

looks like we will have lots to do, forks STILL not back - tho bike is going either tonight or tomorrow for zaust creating.

Have had a box arrived today, so looks like pistons are back from Rich @ Louigimoto (cheers Rich )

Lots more to do - might just be finished by Fri night (the 29th April) if lucky

C

It means to pass out.
Just because of the stress. I never raced, and I remember the speed of my heart the first time I did a track day. I think it will be worst for my first race.

BUT THIS WILL BE GOOD
