RIP 996

Looks like my bikes been writen off. The engineer put it as a Catagory B. So she will never grace the road again. Been offered £4800 and the option to buy it back for £200 (That has to be the Worlds Cheapest 996).So atleast I can build a trackday tool and stay within the Ducati Fold.

May just buy a Universal Jap Bike for the road. Any ideas on what to get for £4800 was thinking CBR 600RR
I'm only 5'6 so nothing huge.

I've obviously missed something, what happened? are you OK?

What model, year, reg, mileage etc was the bike and i'll chack the trade price if that helps.

Good luck with getting it and yourself sorted.

Its a 1999 T 996 Bip 11500 miles. Retail is circa £5300 Trade is at £4800. I'm happy with it considering the buy price back to myself.
Cheers

I could haggle, However it has Cans that are not stamped with a kite mark and it has a small reg plate. So his insurance company can make it very difficult. Is it really worth the hassle for maybe an extra £1000 or so.
Dont forget I still own the 996 with all its trick bits.

I've never riden the 600rr but they do seem to be the bolox of a 600
