After much thought im thinking a 749r would be a great replacement for my 748, much as i love the looks of this series i am hoping to get a 749r. The 2004 carbon fairing model is at the top of my wish list so was just hoping any current or ex owners would share there views of these bikes. Also how do you think residual value will be as plain 749 models seem to haemorage money! What kind of price should i expect to pay??....cheers

!!!AH you seem to have forgotten one VERY important thing!!!COLOUR!!! RED no too common,BLACK maybe??,nan too um !GHOST RIDERISH! I KNOW YELLOW NOW THATS A NICE COLOUR, all the BEST BIKES ARE YELLOW.....and faster.
OK, well i think ive found one, 1 owner, 04, 3800 miles, just had belts etc, great price but what did these bikes come with? Did they have a cover or anything? What handbooks should be supplied etc?
