The end is in sight now. some finishing touches are required and a maiden voyage planned for saturday afternoon to wells nest the sea for a coffee.

I'm afraid yer wrong there.
Pretty sure the Cagiva 500GP bike made its first appearance in 1981,while Bazza retired in 1984.He DID ride the bike much later on,.....but only on parade laps at big events.(Usually on Eddie Lawsons no.7 bike)I saw him up at Scarborough on the bike wearing just jeans and a thin jacket.

The Heron paintjob is very iconic and,of course,so is the 916.The two just dont go together tho,imho.
