Great Half a ride out. Thanks for stopping and helping guys, amazing what a boy scout James is. He had everthing in that pouch of his. Truck turned up about 3/4 hr later so I was back home in 2hrs. Was a really convient place to brake down really, managed to coast to about 20ft away from the Murco so the smallest of pushing involved, sunny day, shade and cold drinks + a mars ice cream from Kim. Could have stopped at a lot worse places.

I removed the fuel pump and put a lead straight onto the pump from the lead of the engine, flick the kill switch and it pumps away. So its the black tube thing ?? that had the wires on that is faultly. It wont tone out either. So should'nt be to bad to replace that.

Big thanks to Kev for a great day out, almost felt like a day at Cadwell New tyres well and truly scrubbed in

Shame Craig's bike wouldn't play for the whole day, but glad he got home ok

Thanks to Kim for the ice cream, with 26 degrees in the shade it was most welcome

Our prayers were answered

Craig if you can't repair the broken wire but can live without the fuel gauge, use one of the wires from the fuel level switch to run the pump.

Good to hear they got you back home in a reasonable time
