you are correct with the standard plastic fairings, 03/04 (with vents) is narrower than 05/06 (without vents) so longer 'ears' needed to fit later top

Talking tonights update
fitted the painted top fairing tonight




looks good I think

just need to fit the screen, if I can find the bloody tool I had for those pesky bolts !

and put the r/h side fairing back on

slight problem with one of the carbon mirror cowels being a cr*p shape ! GGRRRRRR ! so no go on them yet

Graeme, did you try the new shape 06 fairing to see if it would fit while it was in bits ?

The painted one looks very nice.

Whats happened with the new mirrors

You not got your discs on yet ?

Those std clutch and brake levers look so 2004......... what you need are black brembo ones................
