The rear shock is standard but just has a 'pedigree' can wrapped round the reservior. the pipes are Baines, as is the clutch mod. I have owned the bike now for three years and these mods were done! I have fitted the braided hoses and the gold chain, and stripped and cleaned the bike from top to bottom.
But wonder if I am missing anything by not owning a Monster?
Do you think I should change the bike?

nope, stick with it.
if anything, get a monster to along side the SL just in case you don't like the monster, which might be a possibility.

Nope

Go and test ride a Monster from your friendly Ducati dealer if you feel the need!

Yep. Unfortunately though SuperLights aren't worth much these days. As a favour, and I'll be in trouble if the missus finds out, I can give you 500 quid to take it off your hands... You won't get a better offer elsewhere, honest....

Thanks for the offer FiscusFish, however I think your misus will be a tad upset if she Knows you want to trade her and £500 for the Superlight. And she might get cold in my garrage!

I might try the monster for a test ride as you've all suggested.

Beautiful One of my all time favourites. The Monsters are good fun but for me it'd be the SL everytime
