That's a real bummer Mav,

Hope you get something sorted soon. Guess the Ring probs were around the corner as I couldn't believe how 'relaxed' it was in Germany with bikes.

Tough break Mav.

Me and Mrs Jools went through closing up a business about 14 years ago, and we're still feeling the effects today. It took about 10 years to clear all our debts, and at an age when many people have paid off their mortgage, I've still got a thumping great big mortgage and 10 years left on it.

But life is good. I discovered, through all the hardship, that my marriage really works, my kids have got great values because we couldn't afford to lavish designer labels and consumer goods on them so we lavished our time, attention and love on them instead - and they've grown up into great adults.

There IS always a silver lining mate, even when the clouds are at their darkest.

Tough break Mav. I'm sure you'll succeed in whatever you do next, just as you did with the 'ring trips.
You can only try your hardest and do the best you can with what you've got under your control. This I'm sure you did.
If the powers that be, especially in another country, tighten up then there's nothing you can do.
Best of luck fella and cya soon.

Thanks for

All your support guys&gals and kind words!!

Imho, i think the germans etc etc are just firing warning shots

and i know for deffo some parts in europe are following suit!

Europe is that big there is still plenty of space to go play infact only last week on my travels i found more awsome roads that you could play for a week on and never see people let alone the law

But the real problems are This world of litigation !! BIG PROBLEM!!

I should have seen i coming a few years ago!

A few year,s ago i lived next to some waste land
and every rear i used to build a great BIG Bonfire for all The KIDS to enjoy from around our town!!

i used to get the local business comunity to supply the wood etc and i used to buy a pig roast and feed them all and open my house up etc etc !! (all free)

we all had a real good time !!!!

Then one year out of the blue, i had a VISIT of the local councill and they told me as the organiser i would have to provide them with some public liability insurance

i looked into it but it was a minefield and so in the end i stopped doing it !!
THE KIDS missed out and so did i, as i loved the BUZZ of seeing the kids faces when the fire works went off,and PORK COBS bigger than their little faces

I suppose the ring idear was along these lines ! sure it had got to make money to survive!!

but the buzz i got from putting a group of people together and then watching them enjoying them selves and me getting paid something for doing it was AWSOME

what ****es me off is it.s simple to hit the little bloke hard !! just shove the cost up him and force him out the game!!!

but like KB said i aint finnished yet !!! the new Package is in the making ok it will have to be done differently BUT REST ASSURED as long as i've got a hole up my *** i will sucseed!!!1 bloody way or the other !!!! Thanks all MADMAV

I understand your sentiments...it's getting ridiculous. We took some kids on a school trip and it chucked it down. They were so gutted.
So in my head i said "what the f*ck". We went on everything anyway.
I was "told off" after taking a group of kids on a bouncy castle in the pouring rain with no shoes and socks on! (me included)
The photos show us having a great time and the kids still talk about it when they see me...but a parent complained about my irresponsibility....
We cant do anything anymore.
