learnt that lession in 1984 on Suzuki GP100 wearing T shirt & No gloves. I expected Broomfield Casualty to have painless way of removing grit, I was a bit dissapointed when handed nail brush & swarfega.

The really scary bit is-they STILL use a nailbrush to get the grit out-nothing better apparently-makes me cringe just to remember it..................all 16 year old's are indestructable aren't they??

I actually dumped one of my girlfirnds like that when I was a youngster. Pulled my first two up wheely from a standing start, didn't figure that the front would come up much more easily and turned round to see her in the road on her arse with legs akimbo. One of the last times I ever managed that
