I was a devout fan of the older shape, and in some respects the new shape still doesn't appeal to me but ... an 05 999S in black with an added monoposto seat and white rear numberboard is taking an unhealthy section of my daydreaming thoughts ...

Pity it won't happen with Desmo Due racing happening etc.

Mood: Enjoying Togdom !
I say lads thats a bit strong isnt it,there is nothing wrong in liking the finer things in life,if one can afford the "R" then one should quite simply buy it.
I find the sweeping generalisation that all "R" riders are "POOFS" totally offensive,I am as straight as the next man,one simply needs to speak to my live in friend Tarquin who will confirm that.
As for riding in the novice group one must realise that (a) Due to advancing years the old punkawalla Montgomery simply is not able to keep up whilst polishing the old girl on track and (b) as the novice group finishes first ihave time to enjoy my Pimms before taking tiffin (leaving Montgomery to load the old girl into the transport for the return to Butcher Towers).
One has to remeber old boy that one is expected tp maintain certain standards.
After all it is 2004 and there is still an empire!,simply cant have jonny foreinger seeing us with dirty tackle.
