Should turn out 100bhp or so with torque just short of a 996

So you've skimped on the job then Mort....

Where's the 'bludee jealous' smiley?

Once it's finished Mort will have one of the (if not THE) most powerful Two Valves in the country... There can't be too many other Brits with MBP heads...

'Bout the only thing to beat it would be one of the new 1000cc engines with MBP heads or a hand grenade like Chris Kelleys 970 (odd..) big bore http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/shop/heads/heads.html .

Shame it's Bloo.....

As far as I know Darren, Bloo duke is the first to get the head conversion this side of the "pond". The 966 kit was the original plan, but it's a little more race focused, leaving the skirt a bit thin.
Although Bloo gets some serious track time, she still does a lot of road miles so reliability was important to.
MBP reckon that ultimately there is little difference between the 22cc's and they actually run 944 in their own race bike.
Build it, race it all season and strip at the end. They haven't even had to do the valves.
Now a 1000DS with these heads on..................that would be fun
