| chains! out for a ride last night and what happens?? chain snapped!!  :resulting in smashed genrator cover, spilled its gutts! dinged swingarm, chipped wheel and a nice chain imprint in the underside of the temi!!  i would like to hear from anyone who has been in this situation before! the bike is 15 months old and has covered 6100 miles. Is on its original factory fitted chain & sprockets (naturally!) were do i stand with a warranty claim??  aren't chains usually guaranteed for at least 10k? Ducati want to see the chain as they claim it is down to owner maintenance.... Any advice greatly appreciated!  [Edited on 14-9-2005 by chillo]  |
