Theres Stainless and theres cheap stainless, one will rust.Fine Scotch pads work well on the headers, with Autosol. They will leave fine scratches,Autosol on a cloth removes them.

1. Find a 16 year old lad who is saving for a a car. ( They'll do anything for money at this age )

2. Tell him you will give him ten quid if he will polish the exhaust to a mirror finish.

3. Give him the wire wool / autosol and rags.

4. Go and have a beer.

5. When he brings it back after an hour tell him it's not shiny enough.

6. Have another beer.

7. When he brings it back after half an hour ( The attention span reduces very quickly at this age ) tell him it's not bad and give him the tenner.

8. Spend the next 15 minutes finishing off the job to your liking.

9. Re fit exhaust.

10. Sit down to admire new shiny thing.

11. Have another beer.

Works for me!
