I'm in the "earn quite a bit, but spend more than I earn" category - so I'm always skint.

I put it down to stupid forays into business (15 years ago) that cost me tens and tens and tens of thousands and pesky kids that have cost me tens and tens of thousands.

But that's all behind me now, the last bills for the kids were paid out a couple of months ago with my daughter's wedding and my son's graduation - they're both working so I'm free of any fixed financial obligation to them

Pretty soon I should be laughing all the way to the bank....
