Had a Citreon BX TZD Turbo Estate many years ago as a company car, it was nicknamed the flying coffin being metallic grey and the most angular car I've ever had the misfortune to drive.

Handled like a bag of nails, so much body roll it was unbelievable, gear stick like a knife switch with about 3 feet of travel from gear to gear, seats that seemed to move up and down but that was your lot, and the ultimate quirk being the handbrake on the front wheels.

Saying that I did a 3000 mile round trip to Italy, via France, Monte Carlo followed the San Remo rally around Italy and back again without any problems, got through a set of tyres on that trip though with all the rolling around, felt like Regan and Carter in their Granada screeching going on

I saw your car but that's not the new 307 SW. The new one has got the same front than the 407SW... really beautiful I think.

I was looking at perhaps a 307 SW to replace the Scooby which is killing my back!

I do like them though, so much so that I'm buying another one next week

But from a dealership in Surrey .... from one of our very own - Andy Roberts.

Take a bow Andy. [/quote]

TaaaDaaaaa!!!!!!

I love French cars...and indeed the French!!!! I think all the anti-French "jibes" are often thrown because we secretly know that they seem to have life a little better sussed than we Brits do; They have more space per head, houses and wine are cheaper, the food's better, climate (down south) better and the young ladies are very pretty!!!!

Back to the real world.....I've sold Peugeots for nine years now...they have their ups and downs, but they go and handle well, look prety good, are highly "specced" and good value for money.

Roll up and buy one!!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear

I have a company car, it is a laguna 1.9 dci on a 52 plate, to date it has done 127,000 miles, now the bad bit.

1 new gearbox
1 new intercooler
1 new turbo
1 new set of front suspension
1 new set of track rod ends
1 new set of control arms
1 new set of track rod arms
numerous electrical faults

And before any one ask's, NO the above items were not replaced due to any accident, they just failed

Chris.
