| 999r HEADLIGHT SWITCH?
Just acquired an '04 999r with the Volvo-like headlight arrangement, with headlight on/off switch blanked off & dipped beam permanantly on (other than when starting). Would appreciate advice on whether its possible and straightforward to replace the switch for a standard 749/999 on/off without having to modify the wiring? ie does the necessary wiring run into the existing switch but is simply not connected/utilised? Want to be a little kinder to the battery...thanks. |
