on our day, we (england) can give any team a game.weve beat the best before. if owen is fit we have a real chance of making the final four. brazil will come close again, the average age of england is right,our spine is strong in robbo, terry,rio,steve g,lamps,rooney,owen.. its fair to say our manager is a porn star though. average are is right,the climate in germany is right,its possible.

Yep, I'd go with that. Anything is possible. But they won't win it because the porn star will play the same 11 players in all matches, instead of using the squad at his disposal. He's too scared to drop the big names.

I agree, the spine of the team is good, but that leaves 4 or 5 players to rotate around them. But he won't, not till he is forced to by injury or til he realise's that his prize Becks is tired and needs a rest, bless him.

I'd like to see a team with flair win. Holland or Italy. You watch Germany sneek into the final.

i love football but curiously dont follow engalnd as passionately as many non supporters i know. love to see them do well though and quite possible if they can play to the best of their ability in every match.
