I was using a large bookcase, but having bought a few more minichamps i need something larger, just counted 51 bikes with 14 on order, the Ikea ones look nice good to have lights in there also, might need to buy a few of these.

Gulp! My most expensive one is £39 so far!

I do kick myself that a couple of years ago I bought the Bayliss 2002 one but had the option of the 2001 Imola one. Doh!

Not sure. The 2001 normal Bayliss is pretty expensive now too. Just the 2002 which you can get for £10 (plus a bit).

Just ordered two Rossi Yams on pre-order.

Was also going to buy Lavilla or Haslam BSB 999. But which one? Would welcome collectors views as to which one would be the better investment.

in the end mate they will all be worth money. the Lavilla should be worth more as he won the championship. I buy the bikes even if they didnt win, i just like the look of them.

If you are after investments then buy all championship winning bikes, all special Rossi bikes, and if you can stretch then get the early Rossi ones and early Bayliss bikes.
Because Bayliss has come back to Ducati then I think all his bikes will be worth collecting. I have just put a bid in or the 2000 Bayliss on ebay.
