plenty of cheapies on flea-bay, there was a yellow 916 for sale for 3k recently then again you could pay a bit more and get a really good one for around 4- 4.5k. After all you could spend 3k and then get a nasty bill which would push the price up. i had mine up for sale a while back at 5,250 but a bit optimistically.

I thought I was doing well, 5.5k miles 916 with a few tasty carbon bits and 5-spoke marchesinis for 3k....

Go on Nat...where did you get it???? any more...(hmmmm trackbike.....hmmm)

Check this out, very slight accident damaged 748 SPS. Needs a back tyre and various small bits plus ody work. Would Guess £200 for parts plus body work repair. Bet it sells for less than £2,500.

Ideal easy repair and you could get it repainted red when you repair it, that way the paint work would be new and the right colour (tin hat on order)

Ha ha !! Trade secrets mate !! Basically an ebay sale that didnt meet its reserve..went to look at it on the way back from brand hatch desmo due last year with a wad of cash ready to take the mick..wouldnt run right..told matey it was knackered and I wouldnt insult him with a silly offer..he agreed it wasnt right but said he was desperate and off we went !!

Of course it COULD have been proper knackered but as you rightly say...it was worth that in bits.

Sold all the road kit/wheels etc for £700 and turned it into this...but ive got the option of putting it back on the raod if I need to ! Keep looking - they ARE about.

P.S Thats Deej in the background on the right looking a bit 'gaybar' !!! Malaysia was tops Deej thanks..just gutted to be back !!!
