It fits on the left hand side of the airbox at the bottom so you can get to the balance adjustment on the throttle bodies

its got no holes to a fix any where has it ...may have been left ther when it was asembled at the factory ?????

Only a hole the same size as that bit of rubber on the left hand side of the airbox

I know as I have one as well, it's a cover that is put on the engine when it a subassembly in the factery, it is to stop bits falling in the airbox.
It should of been removed when they put the engine into the frame.
mine was in the airbox for 2000 miles not good but I was lucky.

Thats a clever thing to do -remove a factory fitted part and bypass the air filters by leaving a big hole in the side of the airbox
have a look at any 749/999 and it will have the bung fitted
