takes me just over 7 & a half hrs from home with a clear run so would be a definate no
usually ends up taking about 9+ hours with traffic & a rest stop and swore 2 years ago I would never take race bikes there again.

Not being a racer I wont vote on this but, I've spoken to quite a few TD riders who come down from Scotland to Croft and rate it as highly as Knockhill.

Having said that, after going to Knockhill to watch the BSB round - I'm very impressed as its a lovely circuit both in location and layout.

Nothing to do with Croft being only 20 mins away of course

Cheers - Frank

I've been there and it's a cracking little track, but way too far for me for 2 x 8 lappers.

Sorry.

Rather do the distance to tracks like Assen.....

Horrible drive
cold and 99% heavy rain
Nice Track mind!!!!!!!

470 miles from portsmouth... too far for me, doubt it'd be worth it.

No, too far for two short races. Rather spend the time and money going to Assen.

Question
Just a thought. If DD can make it to Assen why not Knockhill? (Apologies in advance if that is far too simple a question). As the DSC has lost the right to having any meaningful representation north of the border due to neglect - Ducati up North stepped into the breach - wouldn't a DD race at Knockhill be a great way to try and re-establish the club north of the border?
