cast iron disc rebuild

I now have a pair of cast iron discs for my 748. The aluminium centre is faded on one of the discs so I was thinking about taking the discs off and getting them re-anodised, probably not gold but that by the by. Is this practical, can I use the same cir-clips to put them back together or should I replace them, if so where could I get them. Or should I just live with the faded one. You have to realise I have just been looking at the bike for the last 2 months and I want to get some thing done.

You can buy new bobbins, circlips and shims from Grand Prix Racewear (brembo importers).
Worth replacing the lot IMO if you're stripping them. The circlips are a definate though.

MIGHT be worth looking inot using cast stainless rotors. Brembo have been replacing the cast iron rotors as there have been SOME instances of them exploding believe it or not.

Well so the story goes but does anyone know anyone, not a friend of a friend, who has had a disc explode.
Anyway I have just bought them so I intend to fit them for next season. They are so much better than any stainless ones I have ever used, especially with the four pad callipers.
