Excellent stuff Chris, will be looking into this if the rules allow, extra midrange would certainly help on the climb up the mountain, especially helpful out of the Ramsey hairpin.
last year Adrian said he came across a very quick 400 in practice, it was almost as quick in a strait line as my R6 that he was riding.

Chris I'll see if Adrian has any KR1S bits still kicking around his garage, he raced a few of them both on the short circuits and the Manx GP up until 2000.
As for metal work, the K nail through my left thigh has been there since the summer of 81 and the screws in the right ankle since 82, I just consider it reinforcement.

Hi Kev,
Thanks for the offer on the bits, my main problem at the moment is how to axtend the rear shock to make up for the 17" RGV rear wheel conversion, any ideas on that one would be appreciated.

As for the nail in the right leg, it`s not the nail that is the problem, it`s the fact there are 4 screws going through the bone into the nail & out the other side, two at the bottem near the ankle & two just under the knee, any twisting of the leg in a crash could see the screws splintering the bone, so sooner out the better. also promised cathy I wouldent race till it was out

Chris.
