Tank was hammered, but the airbox also looks modified. It looks like it has new sides that are angled in.
(it might be easier to use an 851 tank!

Paul, was that airbox with lid on? Me , being a dumbass, have un-neatley cut out the intake stacks from existing airbox. Looks like i could be repairing it this weekend and looking at how to fit the great big plastic lump underneath 748 tank

lid off Mike. In my mind, it may be make a f'glass airbox mold or same size which can be cut down and filter added. Would need dyno again check all ok. Or - cut bottom of tank out - hammer! - and see how that goes

as an aside, with airbox off very difficulty to srat from cold and PC had to be disconnected at first as way too lean. Wouldn't suggest running with PC connected before dyno - who knows what outcome

i know of a 620 which has just come of the dyno and is running no air box just trumpets and foam type filters and is making 65 at the rear wheel and has a lovely smooth power curve .
