I think we know you'll win that bet Skids

I'll take her out again tomorrow and see whether the clutch feels a bit better. Partly unfamiliarity, no doubt but I used to get tendonitis from my Daytona because the clutch was too big a spread for me, only to discover just before I sold her that it was adjustable.

What does "new pattern parts" mean? Whatever it is, if it works it's got to be worth £30.

Jo is bursting to have a go on the back so I'll tell her tomorrow when I take her out for a ride that you appreciated the tea

Ruth>

I think skids means these.

I think I'm right in saying that the top one on the list (12mm hole) is the one that fits the early 748's and Monsters. The small hole ones are for my bike.

I'm sure someone can confirm this.

Always nice to see you Ruth, and she is a little beauty!
Skids and I did say after you'd gone that she won't stay like that for long!
Sorry I was a bit late, got carried away in asda!

Oh yeah, I had a little accident in the shop when you'd all gone, a new Arai fell in my hand and came home with me!

What colour?

It's such a poo day! Much as I want to, I can't bring myself to take the bike out at the moment. Why not? Because she'll get DIRTY! And she's so lovely and clean - she's going to realise she's come to a really bad home and she'll hate me, as her previous owner was obviously such a stickler for cleanliness. She's probably gone into shock already, having sat next to the Duchess for the last 18 hours.

I may have to buy a third bike that can live outside (no room left in the garage unless I move my desk out) that I can ride on days like this when it's too mucky to ride a clean Ducati.

Colin Edwards rep Corsair. They had it reduced to £299 already when I had a supremely cheeky moment and offered them £250. Imagine my surprise when they agreed!!
How can you say no to that

Ducati's don't mind the rain and cold as long as you care for them, my 750SS was half faired and I ride her right through winter................but I did clean her after every ride!

Meant to say thanks for that link Moto748. Presumably you'd have to buy the clutch and gear lever so that they match - although it has just occurred to me that I could bring a whole new meaning to the word 'customised' with this new bike - something to compete with AK's baby, maybe

I think you're a bit too late with that helmet, Jen. You've clearly already suffered a severe blow to your head :P
