We're having a mad crazy day and planning additional coverage for the Xmas and Boxing day because we've been warned that potentially lots of couriers will be required (and not by Santa either)
We'll get away about 7pm tonight depending on when the phones stop ringing and if there's no big problems.
Originally posted by JPM I'm in work, and currently looks like I won't be finished until around 8pm as most of the support guys who know what their doing are off, so I'm left with a bunch of muppets who don't even know how to load a tape, which might not be a problem apart from I'm on call over Christmas so it will come back and haunt me
Yep, I'm working too, deep in the code setting up a message-queue between 2 winCE processes to pipe udp-packets directly into an embedded comms engine, and writing the gui tool to go with it. Anyone who understood that is welcome to offer advice over the xmas period, cos its all got to work by 9th jan. Anyone who didnt understand is still welcome to offer advice of course
Working from home today .... and all the way through the holiday.
Reality is no one will phone or e-mail me which = no work for me. Means I can take the 3 or 4 days leave in summer (rather than now) when I can take the bike out in the sunshine.
