hehe,

did I forget to mention that I've got my own production spec 8.5bhp minimoto....

OK, I did win the last one, but thats more due to the fact that most of the people hadn't ever been on a big bike let alone a minimoto.

I think that there will be some pretty stiff competition on the 7th. Like the man says, bring it on......... the tyrewall that is

Cheers,

Simon

Excuse me but something that has to be said, due to the issue of liability and insurance:

Please note that this is not an event organised by the Ducati Sporting Club. It has no association with The Club.

Whatever has been organised has been done so by a private group of people who may have chosen to use this forum to discuss a private meeting.

The Management Team of the Ducati Sporting Club has not at any time been involved in arranging this.

if only the world did n't have lawers then this type of crap would n't be needed. You know it's not the real mentality of this club, - it is a shame that we now live in a world whee ones backside has to be covered. The club has no issue or problem with people getting together like this, - this club is about people geting together and doing stuff having fun rather than just carrying a badge and meeting in a pubonce a year!
Please don't take the Webteam post as a negative or problem with what is going on. Scaramanga was sent a U2U as soon as it went up by way of explanation.

Would have joined you lot but there is no way I'm gonna be able to scrunch my lardy carcass up enough to get on one of those things.

I feel sorry for the poor little minimotos when some of you other pie eaters sit on them !!.

There isn't a problem with organising this sort of event via the boards but as Ian said we need to remind people that there is no comeback on the club if anything goes wrong. Pity life is like that these days but we are slowly adopting the litigation attitude of the USA. People should be responsible for their own actions and accept the repercussions but it's a mad scramble to find someone else to blame these days.

Hope you all have a great day out, why not do a write up for Pronto with results and a few choice snippets from the days entertainment.

cheers Paul, I've already approached the Pronto team to let them know to expect all the grisly carnage from the day........

If it goes anything like the last one then we will all be

Shame you couldn't make it.

Simon
