NEWSFLASH
(apologies to Chillo for hi-jacking the thread!)

The 999S will be ready Friday morning. Work necessary to get it back on the road has been done!
Needs to go back after the end of the silly season to replace the crankshaft and also the crankcases (peeling paint syndrome), as that job would have taken much longer and left me ride-less for Cadders. I am assured that the bike will hold out fine for the remainder of the summer.

Paul, thanks for your offer mate, genuinely chuffed that you offered your special lovely! (even though the bike in question is a little old-fashioned and outmoded )
