Andy, I already have some carbon on this bike. It looks very posh, actually. I'm thinking of asking for another digital camera for my birthday so that I can share my photos with y'all. Looking at her now, I'm not sure about the mirrors. Think I might be shopping around for some different ones. These are the round ones that look like the bats those aeroplane directors use on the run way. Give a very good view (when properly adjusted)

By the way, I'm doing a bike safe course on 2nd December, starting at the Ace Cafe. Glad to have this bike in time for that mind, otherwise I'd have been riding the M.D. on those flippin slippery tyres

Yep it'll be the 12mm holed ones required, but I would go for a brake one to match the clutch one Ruth, not a gear lever. Haven't we taught you anything yet :P

I'm having a blond day, sorry!!!

Just got back from a memorial service so you comment put a smile back on my face. Cheers

Although, now that you mention it, with your mechanical skills and my brilliant ideas, couldn't we invent a bike that turns traditional things like foot operated gear levers on its head ... if we could just think of a good reason to re-invent what appears to be a reasonably successful method of changing gear.

Or shall I just open another bottle of red and relax
