I honestly can't see how you could take it flat on a big bike - no way. A 996 or something like that, imagine the pace you'd be rocketing at Coppice with!

I can't remember exactly but I'd say the DD bikes would go round there around 100mph'ish? It was getting peaky in 5th with short gearing so I'd guess at 100-110'ish? DD riders, what do you reckon?

Getting a good drive out of Barn on the 996 would see you doing well in excess of 130mph I would have thought! Coppice at 130+mph? Any of us? I'd like to see that.

Nur nur nur nur nur!!!!

I never fell off mine either. I skillfully stopped, dismounted and the bike fell over :P

I agree. It had to be 100mph on the CB500. That was flat in 6th, and pretty much revving out on stock gearing. (Think they do about 110-115 if you have enough space).

I think I was going through there in 5th on the Tango Queen, but then I wasn't using all 6 gears even down Park Straight, so maybe I was going through Coppice in 4th?

From what I remember on me 996, I was approaching in 5th and dabbing the brakes knocking back to 4th for the turn. I would've estimated easily upward of 120 before backing off.

Can't be saying what I get up to on the monnie cos Cadwell is about the only track I'm any good at (relative to the others!) so can't be risking losing the little advantage I have!
