Mmmm, when racing in F400, it was nearly flat out in 6th, down one & no brakes, must be 110-120mph I would guess, some would gear for totaly flat out in 5th & feather the throttle.

Yeh right!!!! - I reckon you've shaken a few cells loose when you crashed at Charlies 1 on Sunday!!!!

Mind you, I reckon you'd be carrying a lot of speed into Charlies if you were flat out at Coppice!!!!

I've seen just over 110 on the clocks by the nasty hairpin before looking up, so 100-105 at the apex seems about right.

I'd be stunned if anyone outside of national racing can hold a 120bhp bike through there flat out (except certain "local heroes"). I'm sure that would be pushing 130+ through there. I know it's got a lot of positive camber, but 130mph through coppice is

As we're going to be there in March and October I don't suppose we're likely to see the sort of track temp/conditions that would give us the chance to have another crack at holding it pinned.

Best we pre-book the ambulance and no-one try and take Tim on lap one on the outside round coppice!
