Lubricants Marketing for Shell. Best part is that I work from home, so can check out this board anytime without someone (boss) looking over my shoulder

Muppet Central

Let me give you an indication of some of the complete muppets I work with ... for the IT geeks ...

A security consultant is trying to get accounts created on some bastion hosts (Unix servers) to get to his firewalls. (We're putting in an entirely new infrastructure which is supposed to be very secure).

So he asks me and I get it organised for him through the relevant team (I did the design for where the bastion hosts sit etc). After the Unix admin guy asks him for the list of accounts the 'Security!!' consultant sends through a spreadsheet with a list of names. This would be fine but then I notice another worksheet in that spreadsheet called OS Root. In this worksheet there is a list of the firewall hosts, their IP addresses and the root passwords!!

He would get sacked in any other environment ....

I'm an Operational Manager for London Underground, most days are spent trying to keep the Piccadilly line running to time no, don't laugh, we do have a 'Time Table' - well of sort of, anyway. Other than that I'm the one who has to attend all those lovely incidents - you know the ones

Urban - your right, Les did confess to being a TAXMAN - didn't he???
