Help required with Avatar
For some reason I have lost my Avatar I have been to the edit profile section and re-entered the URL for it. When I then click on the "edit profile button at the bottom of the page the URL has disapeared again. Any help much appreciated

Can't help you Rocker, this boards avatar system defies even the most arcane logic. Mine disappeared altogether last night!

I've tried that but no luck. When I have put the URL in there is just a button at the bottom of the page saying "Edit Profile" When I click this it just returns me to the pofile page with the URL section blank again. Should there not be a button saying "Send" or "submit" or something simular?

Make sure that the box in the Avatar Url field is empty. In the example here, the box

Avatar Field in Profile

reads: "avatars/loz.jpg". Just delete anything there in your own profile and you should be OK. Or maybe not!

Hi Loz You are the man. I don't know why but following your post I tried again doing exactlt what I had done several times earlier today but this time it worked
Perhaps the Avatar controller is only doing the night shift
Thanks to all those that offered advice
