OK so I was a Mod the first time round

Still got the same pillion though

Aprilia AF1-50 - bored out to 80cc

Sounded ****e but at 16 it was the only way to hit 75-80mph

Thought it was well rapid until I had a go on girly's derestricted RS125

In 1974 - FS1E of course. I loved it. Engine screaming, flares flapping in the wind, hair flapping in the wind. Flares and hair a distant memory now.....

Nice little AP 50 (58 flat out downhill - beat most of the lads on their fizzies!

) - put paid to my punk days very swiftly, as couldnt get mohican arranged when putting on crash helmet!

Lambretta GP150. Never had a front brake and it use to get quite interesting trying to stop the thing with the rear brake only.

WOW down memory lane

well i got me a yammaha ss50 Reg no LXC 61L

it was the early FS1E and the ss stood for (sixteener special)
It was candy apple orange and i put clip ons on it and hacksawed the exhaust in half!!

My party trick was to set the ignition timming to (TDC) and bump start it in reverse !!!! Then ride it backwards

what a party piece that was

it ****ed me of when the FS1E came out as they did it in a purple colour aswell
