Tank protection / cover??
As the ZX is heading for the track and despite my efforts to get hold of a secondhand tank and struggling to find one, I'm looking to protect the standard one.

I realise that if it was a big off then the tank may get dented, but to prevent gravel rash or scratches from a lowside etc, can anyone suggest what I can do?

I know there are tank covers for touring etc, (I'm not sure they do one for the ZX10) but I don't think they look very good.

Is there any kind of protective film, cover or adhesive material that anyone can suggest for this?

It would be good if it was transparent / clear, but what is there?

Thanks
Tim

How about adapting one of those supermarket shopping baskets, that should protect it and also have the dual purpose of you being able to pop down to the shops on the ZX10, when all you need to do is turn t over
