Nice happy day
I is 45 years ancient today and guess what the first thing that drops onto the mat - Notice of intended prosecution...46 in a 40mph limit - this really is starting to take the p*ss - this effin' government with their poxy safety speed limit restrictions......makes me want to use public transport....it's getting way to revenue generating...

Not sure I should come on this board and mix with you hardened criminal types. I've lived a very sheltered life.

NB. A little birdy told me that if you happen to buy a bike with an incorrect number shown on the number plate - say an 'O' where a 'D' should be - and you (in your innocence) don't notice, then all speeding tickets you'd otherwise pick up will go astray. Moreover, the fine for (innocently) having an incorrect number is only a half-crown or summat!

Now, my question is this: What the hell is a half-crown??

Happy birthday old chap.............whoops sorry, I know, less of the old. Glad to see someone older than me on the board.

Sorry to hear about your speeding ticket. I've noticed a lot more traffic police with hand held radar targetting 40mph limits round here lately too.

I wouldn't advocate using public transport though...............it's just not healthy I used the train/tube for the first time in over a year on Monday and realised straight away why I stopped. During my journey three different people sat next to me between Twyford and the Barbican and all three were full of flu and head colds. The left side of me was soaking by the time I got off with so much sneezing going on.

I'm off to the doc's for a flu jab I think.................am I old enough to qualify?

Thanks for the condolences on the age and points - I think I'll just stick my head in a vat of tequila...for the next few days!

The old number plate idea does appeal though... yeah do it, do it, do it, do it, just do it

Go away and populate another post ya git...all artistic license waived...(sorry Jools)
