Tecmoto????
Hi
I need some crash damage repairs done and was thinking of using Tecmoto as it has been recommended on this site. I have spoken to Chris Carr (new owner?) at Tecmoto and they are just about ready to reopen. However I got the impression that all the staff may have changed. Does anyone know if they will still be able supply a good service?

Only just seen your post trig. If they have changed hands then they kept it very quiet.

I must admit that since the fire (which was some time back in July) I haven't gone back to see them. I did speak to Mike afterwards and they were unable to do any servicing because of the fire.

Tecmoto (or the people that run it) had plans to become a new Official Ducati Store in Romford I think. It is possible that they have sold it and will go on to open a new Ducati store.

Anyone let us know what's going on?

I know quite a few motorcycle businesses that have either gone out of business or have sold up to get out of the business, seems to be a shrinking market in the UK currently.

Bikes are shifting v. slowly, and all the gear/accessories probably just as slow, doesn't help that we're now in the trough of the peaks and troughs as it were.

I never got round to meeting them, but did speak a few times on the phone, always had time for a chat, and were great people who loved their bikes, they'll be missed.
