Hi All, Some info is needed regarding Ducati rear wheel. I have bought a used 3 spoke full carbon rear wheel( so called to fit a 996) but when I've taken the original(Magnesium alloy) off, the locating pins have a center to center of 85mm hole spacing in the wheel, this Dymag seams to be about 94-95mm. Is it possible to get a new Dymag center hub or is there a different Ducati locating plate ?

Are you certain that the carbon wheel is for a Ducati? Might it be a 3 spoke off another bike?

I don't have experience of all the single sided Ducati wheels, but all wheels from the 748-998 range should fit the others.

One more thing is that the original wouldn't be magnesium (if it is the original wheel).

You could give Dymag a call, I don't have the number to hand, but I have found them very helpful in the past.

Thanks Tim, Not 100% as I took the person's word, I've found Dymag's number from the web, will ring tomorrow to see what they say. Looking at the center hub on the wheel it may be possible to replace.

I reckon it'd be unlikely that you could change the centre hub, but it is possible I suppose.

You're best to check with Dymag and maybe find out what the wheel actually is (if its not Ducati) and then stick it on Ebay ????

What was that about a corsa wheel I once heard about on the board?

Yep the Corse wheel is different as the bike uses a larger axle, I had a 16.5 inch Dymag but as it had the larger Corse Centre hole I sold it to Phil Bevan for his 996RS, But I'm not sure if the locating pins are on a different PCD as I didn't try it or measure it but I think I have seen a Corse wheel on a standard hub using a one piece nut come reducing sleeve

There are different part numbers for the front and rear corse wheels, but I'm pretty sure it's about the bigger axle on the rear and the different disc mounting pcd on the front?
Saying that though, the bigger axle on the rear could push the stud pcd out. Felix is running the corse wheels, you could ask him to measure his?

Contacted Dymag, they can change center hub's but has to be done at factory. They said send wheel and they will change to standard road fitment approx £120 and a week turnaround. Cool.
