Major speed trap plot on M4 tonight?
No Apologies - just copied this over from another forum - hope it helps even one person

Speed trap warning - M4 westbound Junc 13?

It looks like the police are setting up a major speed trap westbound on the M4 between Junc 13 and Membury services. The first bridge past Junc 13 has speed cameras on every lane and there are unmarked police cars parked at the next two huge roadside information signs. They are head down looking at something on the passenger seat.

Then there's two police cars and two police motorcyclists parked on the onbound sliproad at Junc 14 and Membury services are full of police.

Be careful tonight if you're heading that way.

That'll be an ANPR check then......don't bother with stoppers for speed checks- you're already caught on camera.
The vehicles further down the road are to pull vehicles used in connection with crime or of Police interest.
You know.....Proper Police work!

Don't think there was a lot of speeding going on the M4 where it passes Reading this evening following a accident involving a Lorry not far from the Theale junction, coupled with a big accident between a coach and Tractor on the Newbury bypass then the whole area was at a bit of a standstill on the way home this evening.
