M&M TV - Used bike heaven?????
Well, some of the bikes were on the right track.......

Aim of the program is to offer a punter a go on three bikes that 'loosely' fit his criteria for him to make a choice.

This evening's guy has a Fazer 600 and wants a second bike as a 'do-it-all' but something a little faster to keep up with his mates.....

SO what was he offered..................

1) Suz - GSXR-750

Always fancied on my personal list but fair call - he didnt like it - said it didnt feel 'planted' - go figure ????

2) Hond* - VTR Firestorm

Yep - the big H's mini attempt at a Duke beater - the guy liked it.

So...youd expect something like a Duke maybe????

Aprillia Mille ?????

Triumph Triple ?????

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

3) - Hond* VTR SP1

OK - the guy LOVED it (and why not) but what a line up - the bike shop obvioulsy had a big range of stock and the guy had a sensible price range - worth a watch just to see what they turn up with !!!!

Franko

Is that the one where they're racing pizza bikes around a kart/mini moto course? That was sooo funny!

I loved when a guy who wanted to go touring was offered a ST (I can't remember which one) and said he was worried about carrying luggage to which Fran muttered something about it not being suitable for panniers. To be fair "Doctor Rob" in his summing up did mention that Ducati do offer panniers for the ST but wouldn't you think the editor would have picked up on the conflicting statements
Maybe if I go on the show and tell them I want something to replace my Deauville for my all year round 70 mile commute to work they will give me a nice little 999 yo play with

What about the recent one where the guy wanted a bike to go 2 up touring, plus a bit of solo fun capability (I think the Cat & Fiddle was mentioned).

They put him on:
FJ1300
Gold Wing
BM 1200LT

I don't know why the GW and LT were there - he wasn't remotely interested in them for his solo fun.....
