Will a Ducati Corse seat unit, the ones with the Corse sticker on the rear originally fitted to the R’s fit a bip?

Do you mean the ones fitted to 996/998/748R ?

If so then they will all fit straight on, only the 998R does not have vents

Will still fit ok but you will need a new seat pad and seat pin bracket with spacers

I fitted one yesterday, could not work out for the life of me why i could not get it to lock down, finaly realsed that the seat pin was not low enough to lock into the locking hole, bodged a couple of quarter inch spacers and it was fine.

You just need the two spacers to lower the locking pin.

Not expensive or you can use some odds and sods of bolts and spacers to lower it enough.
