Flip-up sidestand AArrrggghhh
I've just bought a 98 748SPS with one of those horrible flip-up sidestands.
Can anyone recommend where I get one of those lovely weeny brackets that stop it springing up please.

or you can use the plate and nut off the later bikes. Geniune Ducati parts that cost about £4.
I have some in stock if your dealer hasn't

The stand on my 748 looks very different to the one on the brancato site, which is quite like the one on my SS.
This is a pic of mine ...

Phil, the stainless bolt on the Brancato site replaces the original one in the sidestand.the only thing that makes the stand flip up is because it hits the retaining nut on the back of the standard bolt. The replacement does away with this nut.It also is pre drilled to allow it to be lockwired,so you are happy in the knowledge it will never come out!!If Nelly has got the same thing thing, get it from him.
