help, oil Leak from clutch pushrod
I have notice oil on the side stand and traced it to the pushrod , so I changed the pushrod and o-rings, but it is still leaking.
When I take the slave cylinder off I see a little bit of oil coming out , I take it this is not normal. Can someone help me get to the bottom of this on going problem ?

Is it engine oil or clutch fluid?
The slave cylinder is a known soruce of leakage..........throw in a little muck and chain lube and it'll look like engine oil...........
When you refitted the pushrod, did you grease the o-rings up? They run in a fairly rough hole through the left hand casing. Fit them dry and they can tear.....
I'd guess it's the clutch slave cylinder though.

Have you checked the clutch fluid level in the reservoir?
Had this problem on my 748. The slave cylinder had seen better days.

Clint.

I think nelly heat the nail on the head.
I didn’t grease the o-rings, as a plumber I don’t know why I didn’t do that, It is coming from the bike not the slave cylinder. Thank a lot guys.
On the weekend ill go for a ride to the ducati shop in corvnty.

Thanks again simon
