Best Place for a battery,
Weres the best place to order a battery for a 2002 748R? How much are they and which makes should i buy??

Appreciate advice myself for a 98 model 748 acid or gel etc.Had bike connected to an optimate but its still died.

Reading between the lines it appers that the optimate takes long term life out of these batteries.

I had a 916 and now my 996 both with alarms some times they don't get started for up to 3 weeks but they always did and do start and i have never use an opttimate.

I never use optimate either, sometimes months between starts this year and just jump with a car battery. Normally within 1hr riding, the battery is back to starting with ease again.

My Mrs has a 1996 600 monster and that has still got the original batt on it
