Starting from San Gregorio on the Pacific Highway (Highway 1) about half an hour south of San Francisco then up through redwood tree covered mountains to La-Honda (put the hyphen in myself to prevent the unrecognised word) then up to the top and back down over the mountains to Palo Alto. Fantastic road. There's always a downside. I was riding a Harley Heritage Softail and scraping the running boards with monotonous regularity while all the sports bikes were zapping past. Saw a few Dukes (all but one of them Monsters) and would've given my back teeth to swap bikes with 'em. | |
