Rebound adjusters on 748

How many clicks should I be getting on the rebound adjusters from fully in to fully out on a 748 with Showas?

Workshop manual says max of 10 but my forks have 16...

10 clicks out (counterclockwise is the factory rebound damping setting.
14 clicks out is the minimum damping setting on the Showas.

It may go to 16 clicks (or more) but there's no damping change after 14 clicks.
